Die assembly body locked on PCB with lock-in for Supercut/RP - Iteco 7915158C

With this lead form the component body butts directly against the board, no loop and no gap are formed underneath it. The part is locked only below the board, where the leads are splayed apart. The result is the lowest mounted height the Supercut/RP die blocks can produce.

Features

• The body rests flat on the board, which mechanically steadies tall or heavy radial components.
• Splaying the leads under the board keeps the part in its holes until soldering.
• Without a loop under the body the overall height of the populated board stays minimal, which matters in flat enclosures and tight stacking distances.
• Pneumatic die block with vertical travel, changed over without realigning the machine.

Applications

For low profile assemblies and for tall or heavy radial parts that must not stand off, because they would otherwise tilt or touch the enclosure. Common with large diameter electrolytic capacitors and wherever the overall board height is limited.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Fits the Supercut/RP in all four versions. One die block is supplied without a machine. If the component is meant to stand clear of the board instead, choose 7915.158A with the double loop or 7915.158B with the single support loop.
