TO92 die block centre lead spread and lock for Supercut/RP - Iteco 7915158M

During wave soldering leaded TO92 transistors must not fall out of their holes while the assembly is turned and moved. On the Supercut/RP this die block combines both operations in one stroke: it displaces the centre lead out of the lead row and forms a loop on that lead which locks the device in the board.

Operating features

Applications

Assemblies with TO92 transistors that have to be retained before wave soldering, mixed technology boards with long transport paths between insertion and the soldering line, and production lines where fallen out devices previously had to be reinserted.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The die block works in the Supercut/RP machines, supplied by Iteco with 12.7 mm tape pitch under 7915.154 and 7915.154A and with 15 mm tape pitch under 7915.155 and 7915.155A. The machines ship without a die block and every forming shape needs its own block. If the plain offset without retention is sufficient, Iteco offers block 7915.158L, and for retention on all three leads block 7915.158N. Supplied as one complete die block. Made in Italy.
