TO92 die assembly center lead spread with lock-in on all three leads for SUPERCUT/TS1 - Iteco 182700

When a TO92 transistor has to stand exactly upright until soldering, locking a single lead is not enough. This die spreads the center lead to the triangular hole pattern and then forms a locking kink in each of the three leads. The part clamps itself into the board at three points, even when the board runs upside down through the solder wave.

Series and small batch assembly of boards with leaded components, prototype builds and rework in electronics manufacturing, and repair shops that need a reproducible lead pattern from bulk components.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The die assembly fits only the pneumatic SUPERCUT/TS1 with Iteco number 7915.171, which is delivered without a die. On the sister machine SUPERCUT/RS4 (Iteco 7915.166) the same lead form carries the number 162700. The complete die assembly is supplied per piece and is exchanged without modifying the machine.
