TO220 die assembly 90° bending with center lead 5 mm out for SUPERCUT/TS1 - Iteco 183100

Power semiconductors in a TO220 package are usually mounted lying down and screwed to a heat sink through the mounting tab. This requires the leads to be bent through 90 degrees, with the center lead offset by 5 mm so that all three legs meet their holes. This die does both together with the cropping in one pedal stroke, keeping bend radius and bend height identical across the whole batch.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The die assembly fits only the pneumatic SUPERCUT/TS1 with Iteco number 7915.171, which is delivered without a die. On the sister machine SUPERCUT/RS4 (Iteco 7915.166) the same lead form carries the number 163100. The complete die assembly is supplied per piece and is exchanged without modifying the machine.
