Cutting and U-Bending Preforming Die Assembly for Superform/AF - Iteco 420650

Before the Superform/AF can shape a curl or a lock-in, the taped component has to be cut to length and bent into a U. The Iteco 420650 die assembly performs exactly this basic step, with the machine processing up to 7000 components per hour.

Features

• Cutting and U bending in a single pass, without setting the components down in between.
• Cutting and bending dimensions adjustable at the machine, the pitch follows the drilling pattern of the board.
• Basis of every preforming step in the range, the preforming groups 420750 to 421000 build on this U shape.
• If only the U shape without a curl is required, the preforming step can be switched off at the machine.
• Manual operation or motor drive with stepless speed control.

Applications

Assembly preparation of taped resistors, diodes and chokes for through hole mounting where no clearance between component body and board is required.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The die assembly belongs to the Superform/AF cutting, bending and preforming machine. Machine accessories are the motor unit Iteco 7915.032 at 230 V or Iteco 7915.033 at 115 V, the BR6 tape reel holder Iteco 7915.185 and the CS40 feeder Iteco 7915.184 for loose components. Supplied as a set of two preforming groups, the machine itself is not included.
