Preforming die lock-in with body seated on the board Supercut/TS1 - Iteco 180900

Where overall height matters or the assembly has to survive vibration, the component should lie flat on the board instead of standing on a bead. This Supercut/TS1 die therefore leaves out the spacer and only produces the lock-in clinch below the board that holds the part until soldering.

Operating benefits

• The component body lies on the board without an air gap, which gives the lowest overall height of the TS1 forms
• The lock-in clinch below the board secures the part against falling out when turning and transporting the assembly
• The flat seat increases mechanical stability under vibration and shock
• Difference to number 180600: there an additional stand-off bead is embossed
• Cutting and clinching in one pedal stroke at 2000 pieces per hour

Compatibility and scope of delivery

This die assembly is intended exclusively for the pneumatic cutting and forming machine Supercut/TS1 (Iteco 7915.171). The machine is supplied without a die, so the die has to be ordered separately. Changing to a different lead form takes only a few movements, which lets one machine cover several component shapes. The same form is available as number 160900 for the smaller Supercut/RS4 (Iteco 7915.166) - the two number ranges are not interchangeable. Scope of delivery: one complete die assembly. Made in Italy.
