Preforming die stand-off with outward form for radial components Supercut/TS1 - Iteco 180800

Not every assembly tolerates bent leads under the board. Where leads are trimmed later, wave soldered or desoldered, the wires have to run straight through the hole. This Supercut/TS1 die therefore places the bead outwards: it supports the component body on the board surface and does without a clinch underneath.

Operating benefits

• The outward bead supports the component body directly on the board surface and keeps the mounting height constant
• Leads run straight through the hole, so later trimming and desoldering remain possible
• No clinch below the board, which also suits dense track routing on the solder side
• Difference to number 180600: there the bead points inwards and the lead is additionally locked underneath
• Full working range of the Supercut/TS1 up to 140 mm component length and 45 mm pitch

Compatibility and scope of delivery

This die assembly is intended exclusively for the pneumatic cutting and forming machine Supercut/TS1 (Iteco 7915.171). The machine is supplied without a die, so the die has to be ordered separately. Changing to a different lead form takes only a few movements, which lets one machine cover several component shapes. The same form is available as number 160800 for the smaller Supercut/RS4 (Iteco 7915.166) - the two number ranges are not interchangeable. Scope of delivery: one complete die assembly. Made in Italy.
