Nitrogen Nozzles

Soldering and Desoldering Tips

Hakko offers nitrogen nozzles for N2 soldering, in which nitrogen serves as a shielding gas to protect the solder joint area from oxidation. The range covers nozzle types A (B2706, B3121), B (B2707, B3122), C (B2708, B3123), D (B2709, B3124), E (B2898, B3561), F (B2899), G (B2900), H (B2901), I (B2902), and J in KF format (B2923). The B2xxx series fits Hakko FX-791/FX-792 N2 soldering iron modules; the B3xxx series is compatible with T14 N2 soldering tips. N2 soldering reduces bridging and improves wetting on lead-free alloys.

Two compatibility series - B2xxx for FX-791/FX-792, B3xxx for T14 N2 soldering tips
Ten nozzle geometries - types A through J/KF for different applications and approach angles
📦 Shielding gas soldering - N2 atmosphere prevents oxidation of tip and solder
Improved wetting - particularly beneficial with SAC alloys and lead-free processes per IPC/JEDEC
Nozzle D / B3124 - specific to T14 N2 soldering tip, suitable for FX-971/FX-951 with N2 option
