T50 series
Soldering and Desoldering Tips
The Hakko T50 series comprises eight active soldering tips for compatible Hakko stations in the basic geometries D (chisel: 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 1 mm), I (needle point, 0.1 mm), J (angled needle, 0.1 mm), KN and KU. The active tip technology places the heating element close to the tip, enabling short warm-up times and stable temperature maintenance even under heat loss to pads and the PCB substrate.
Active tip technology - heater element directly in the tip for fast temperature stabilisation
Chisel shapes D 0.2-1 mm - D02, D04, D06, D1 for ultra-fine to standard SMD soldering
I 0.1 mm and J 0.1 mm - straight and angled needle for tightest pitches and confined access
KN and KU special shapes - for chip SMD components and specialised contact geometries
| Part number | Shape | Dimension |
|---|---|---|
| T50-D02 | Chisel, straight | 0.2 mm |
| T50-D04 | Chisel, straight | 0.4 mm |
| T50-D06 | Chisel, straight | 0.6 mm |
| T50-D1 | Chisel, straight, active | 1 mm |
| T50-I01 | Needle point, straight | 0.1 mm |
| T50-J01 | Needle point, angled | 0.1 mm |
| T50-KN | KN active | - |
| T50-KU | KU | - |
Typical applications: Precision soldering on fine SMD contacts with chisel shapes D02 and D04, hand soldering on 0402/0201 components, IC rework with ultra-tight pitch (I01 needle), confined solder joints using angled J01 tip, and SMD chip placement and rework with KN and KU special shapes.
