Soldering tips
The Weller XH soldering tip series comprises five chisel-form types for the XH station series. Geometries range from XH-A (1.6x0.8 mm) through XH-B (2.4x0.8 mm), XH-C (3.2x0.8 mm) and XH-D (4x0.8 mm) to the bent variant XH HX (0.8x0.4 mm). All types share a tip height of 0.8 mm and are designed for consistent heat distribution in chisel geometry.

XH tips are compatible with the Weller XH station series irons. For fine work the XH HX (0.8x0.4 mm, bent) or XH-A (1.6x0.8 mm) are suitable, for standard THT joints XH-B or XH-C, and for high-mass pads XH-D (4x0.8 mm). The consistent height of 0.8 mm across all chisel types simplifies switching between widths without adjusting approach angle.
Typical applications: THT assembly and SMD rework on components from 0603, cable assembly, PCB repair, manual soldering in series production, and use in training and educational environments. The bent XH HX variant is suited for confined solder joint positions under components or inside connector housings.
