The Weller ET soldering tip series is engineered for the Weller WE 1010, WD 1, WD 2, and WSB 2 soldering stations, delivering precise temperature control within ±2 °C at tip contact. ET tips are manufactured from a copper core with iron-plated, chrome-barrier, and tinned working surfaces, achieving thermal recovery rates that sustain stable operating temperatures between 50 °C and 450 °C across all standard tip geometries - including pencil (ET-A), chisel (ET-BB, ET-CC, ET-D), bevel (ET-H, ET-K), and needle (ET-J) profiles. Tip-to-ground resistance is kept below 2 Ω in compliance with IEC 60900 and IPC J-STD-001 ESD-safe soldering requirements.
